karma history logo

Karma is a relatively new but promising company, established in 2015, which has already made a mark in the market with its stylish and high-quality electric cars. The brand's visual identity is equally impressive, featuring a futuristic logo that leaves a lasting impression.

Karma originated as Fisker Automotive in 2008 and began producing the hybrid Fisker Karma car in 2011. However, production was halted a year later. In 2014, the company was acquired by the Chinese company Wanxiang, marking a new beginning for Karma.

The Fisker logo was traditional for the industry, featuring a circular badge with a silver frame and a white inner outline. The center of the badge had a bright circle with an orange upper half and a blue bottom half, intersected by two vertical silver lines. The word 'Fisker' was inscribed in black capitals on the upper part of the badge's white outline.

With the company's rebranding in 2015, a new logo was introduced, differing significantly from the Fisker badge and other market offerings. The Karma emblem is distinctive and stylish.

The brand's visual identity includes a circular emblem and thin, elegant logotypes that can be used with or without the emblem. The Karma circle is outlined with a glossy silver ring with a sharp diagonal cut at the top. Inside, there is a voluminous dark blue circle with a touch of purple, encircled by a thin orange and red outline, resembling a precious stone or a snake's eye, symbolizing courage, luxury, and precision.

The orange and red outline suggests a flame, representing the company's passion and determination, with a focus on innovation and design.

The logotype features three-dimensional letters in thin, sharp lines with a gradient and glossy silver finish. The horizontal bars of both 'A's are removed, balancing the 'M' and adding sharpness to the image.

The custom typeface used for the uppercase Karma logotype is thin yet strong, delicate yet sharp, perfectly representing a contemporary company with futuristic goals and values. The typeface is similar to Posterama Pro 2001 Light, with the 'R' in the middle as the only smooth element of the inscription.

The deep blue, orange, and silver color palette of the Karma logo conveys creativity and sophistication, portraying the brand as unique and professional. The purple shade of blue adds mystery and imagination, while the orange details enhance the dynamic and energetic appearance of the badge.
