Two emblems were designed in the shape of a shield: one was a vertically elongated red and silver badge featuring delicate lettering on the upper silver portion, while the second consisted of a checkered gold and black shield with a golden capital 'H' in the center.
However, the most well-known Hansa logo featured a horizontally oriented oval with the wordmark in the center. This monochrome logo appeared elegant and simple, yet became highly recognizable due to the unique font used for the lettering.
The Hansa nameplate was rendered in lowercase using an ornate gothic-style typeface characterized by sharp angles and elongated lines. The playful tail of the letter 'A' touched the thick black oval frame.
Another version of the logo designed for Hansa featured a gold and black triangle adorned with laurel leaves and a bold 'H,' with its vertical bars extended to the sides. However, this version was not widely used by the company.
