Unless you know this sports car brand, it would be hard to tell who this emblem belongs to as the logo has a universal and quite modern design. It was done as a round emblem with a metallic silver border and center that was split into a white upper portion and vivid blue bottom. A white half had a striking blue “A” with sharp, pointed ends and italicized font. The full name was printed in white using a more rounded, basic font and placed on the blue portion.
The updated logo has a lot of similarities to the original logo, but it now looks flat and the colors are no longer as vivid. The blue portion got smaller and was replaced by thin light gray lines that matched the gray border of the emblem. Although the initial had the same shape, it looked flat and had one solid color. Moreover, it was now significantly larger. The “Alpine” inscription is curved at the bottom of the border and printed using all uppercase letters of a blue color. The logo acquired a new element – three stripes that symbolize the flag of France.
The “A” initial is now the center of the logo. The company preserved the blue color that reflected its trustworthiness, stability, and authority. The name was printed using a font that had the same style as the initial. The sharp, diagonal cuts gave the logo a modern and daring appearance, while the use of a single color for the whole emblem enhanced the solid position of the company.
